Had a great time with Sadie & Craig on their engagement session at Titchfield Abbey, Fareham. I've been wanting to do a photo shoot here for a little while, it's such a unique place and find historical sites fascinating, The abbey dates back to the 13th century and was then transformed into a Tudor mansion by Sir Thomas Wriothesley, Earl of Southampton after the suppression of the monasteries during Henry VIII reign. It's currently looked after by English Heritage and it's great to visit and shoot at such a prominent site. Despite the drizzling March day, the overcast weather, block overcoats, green hair and a dramatic backdrop worked perfectly for the style of this shoot. I love how this couple were so giggly and playful in front of the camera, you can tell how much in love they are! I'm so excited to document their gorgeous wedding at Fair Oak Farm, East Sussex this summer.
There are so many beautiful places to photograph in Hampshire and always inspired by how many gorgeous locations to choose from for photographing couples shoots. There are so many interesting locations, especially English Heritage and National Trust places in the south. I would love to explore more places for couples shoots!
I find engagement sessions really enjoyable, it's a great opportunity to get creative, get to know each other and have tonnes of fun and create beautiful portraits like this to cherish. What's not to love? See more engagement sessions.
